Body Movement

 In our culinary arts series your child will work closely with a chef, learning how to safely handle knives and kitchen appliances, master the basics of measuring, prepping and other kitchens tasks, and become adept at choosing appropriate recipes and ingredients.​​

We will focus on understanding the hows and whys of making healthful choices, embracing organization, nutrition and improvisation in the kitchen, and getting hands on experience with classic dishes. 

  • 6 weeks of classes

  •    Our Fall Session begins on Sept 16th

  • Spring Session begins on Jan 8th

  • Every other Monday in Fall/Every other Wednesday in Spring

  • Small class size (8 or less)

  • For students age 7+

  • Begin with Knife Skills and learn new skills and recipes each week

  under the guidance of a professional chef

  • You'll be hands on - preparing items related to the lesson for the week

  • Classes are 2 hours depending on subject matter

  • Students receive a guide book of tips and tricks at the end of series

along with a knife and cutting board to keep.

  • Students receive online access to recipes that we use in class

  • Just bring yourself- we provide everything else!
