Body Movement

 Our baking program will take you beyond just recipes and lists of ingredients. We will be learning, discussing, and practicing all the fundamental techniques that make us better bakers.

We will touch on classic French pastry, bread baking, cake decorating, and more. We will also take a peek at some of the science involved in turning dough and raw ingredients into tender pastries and delicious baked goods.

  • 7 weeks of classes

  • Our Fall Session begins on September 9th

  • Homeschool Pastry meets every other Monday in the fall

  • Small class size (8 or less)

  • For students age 7+

  • Begin with understanding ratios and baking terminology and learn new skills and recipes each week  under the guidance of a professional chef

  • You'll be hands on - preparing items related to the lesson for the week

  • Classes are 2 hours depending on subject matter

  • Students receive a guide book of tips and tricks at the end of series

along with a baking kit to keep.

  • Students receive online access to recipes that we use in class

  • Just bring yourself- we provide everything else!
